We had a lovely weekend getaway and this photo summed it up for me.

Day 87: Squatter
We caught this fella trying to move in. Please note he is the same size as the hinge on the door. I nearly wet my pants when I came flying down the stairs to find him sitting there quite happily freaking me out. So what else do you do when confronted by a surprisingly large spider – photograph it for 100 Days!
Day 57: Red Sky at Night
No photo-shopping required just the gorgeous sunset looking out our back door this evening.
ISO 400 f/4.0 1/64 sec
Day 51: Grandad
We are lucky to have three out of four of my grandparents (my kids great grandparents) and spent a lovely morning with my Grandma and Grandad at the shops and having coffee this morning.
This photo was inspired by my Grandma who suggested this shot a few months ago and due to 100 Days Project I finally took it today.
ISO 200 f/4.0 1/60 sec
Day 32: Supermoon
The Super Moon was hiding behind some clouds but my littlest assistant photographer and I had some fun with long exposures. Poor photographers children out late on a school night while I catch the perfect moment but I wasnt keen to hang out at the beach in the dark by myself and needed Matt and sidekicks to be my bodyguards! Thankfully by the time we had fun with our long exposures the clouds cleared and we got some good moon shots as well.
ISO 800 f/9.0 30.0sec
Day 29: City of Sails
ISO 200 f/11 1/400 sec
Day 26: Wobbly
Little Miss Wobbly including bright tear filled eyes and furious thumb sucking after throwing a fit about being left out of the action.
ISO 200 f/6.3 1/125 sec
What do you think – with or without the overlay?
A few weeks ago we went up to North Head in Devonport to photograph the Grootscholten family and had so much fun!By the time we were finished the kids and myself were covered in mud. You know it has been a fun session when you go home muddy. There are more photos on my facebook page here .
Such a beautiful family and lovely kids x
Day 8: Sunshine
Enjoying some sunshine and fresh air after all that rain – the last few days have made up for the wet start to the holidays.
