As I finish up the busy wedding season and sit down to look at my taxes, and other fun things, I have also reviewed my prices and collections and decided that it is necessary for me to have a price overview. My current prices and packages will be valid for any bookings made within the next 6 months. After that new bookings will be at the new pricing structure which I will release when I have updated my literature. Don’t worry it wont be a huge price increase but it has been many many years since I increased my prices and I was horrified when I worked out my hourly wage for the amount of time I spend processing photos. Day 25: Johnny Again
Another one of my gorgeous nephew that I took on the weekend. I have practised a new found photoshop skill in skin smoothing for children and like the end effect. Love this image as it brings back the conversation we were having as I took the photo. He is nearly 2 1/2 and stringing words together to make sentences. Very adorable.

Day 23: Magic
My beautiful girl who loves to dress up.
I was inspired to do this after a forum I follow had another photographer attempting a glitter image and I had seen glitter blowing used on Pintrest and thought that I might give it a go with my girl who loves anything girlie and magical. She choose her costume deciding on Snow White and I got the excuse to purchase some glitter overlays from Etsy (PhotosUnleashed) which I have had fun using on this image and am sure I will use again on some client images.

Day 19: Self Portrait #1
This was by far the hardest challenge I set myself so far. Half the reason I am the photographer is so I don’t have to be in the photos. Then there was the challenge of actually taking the photo of myself – focus, exposure etc. Suffice to say there were a lot of images to get this one. It was hard to get a composition I liked as I found once you start taking photos of yourself everything starts to look really forced or maybe I am just over thinking the whole process. I think this might be something for me to keep working on.
